Ayla Marie Decaire is a New York City-based artist, specializing in acting, dance, painting, and puppet-making. She primarily focuses on her acting—approaching the work through the Michael Chekhov technique, as well as through viewpoints. She is currently attending Columbia University’s MFA Acting program, and will be graduating in 2026.

As a painter, Ayla creates vibrant and detailed images that teeter between abstraction and realism—giving the viewers a colorful and intricate canvas to explore.

She believes that it is through art and storytelling that the world can heal.
